Retired Local 5 member John C."Reds" Nolan died on May 30, 2009.

Reds was 82 years old. He joined local 5 in 1948 and retired in 1989.

At the time of his retirement he had a maintenence route with Schindler.

Reds was a warm, friendly guy, always ready to lend a hand or share a joke.
